4. Boat Listings

Seller responsibilities

If you post a boat listing you agree that:

• You own the boat or are authorized to sell it
• All information provided is accurate and not misleading
• You will promptly update or remove the listing if the boat is sold or the details change
• You will not post the same boat in multiple listings

Disclaimer

Sea.net is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not verify listing accuracy, inspect vessels, or guarantee the condition of any boat. Buyers are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence, including surveys, sea trials, and title checks.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download site content without permission
• Use Sea.net to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam)
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account
• Post content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others
• Impersonate any person or organization

Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

6. Cruising Information and Safety

The cruising guides, tide tables, weather data, and navigation tools on Sea.net are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for official nautical charts, NOAA publications, or professional seamanship judgment. Always consult official sources and use proper safety practices when underway. Sea.net accepts no liability for accidents, groundings, or losses arising from reliance on information on this site.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Sea.net — including text, guides, design, and code — is owned by Sea.net or its contributors and is protected by copyright. You may print or share individual pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit site content without our written permission.

By posting content (listings, reviews, messages), you grant Sea.net a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content on the platform.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Sea.net is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Tide and weather data is sourced from third-party APIs (NOAA, Open-Meteo) and may contain errors or delays.
