Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard
About
Gig Harbor Marina & Boatyard occupies a prime spot in one of Puget Sound's most charming maritime towns. The entire town of Gig Harbor has been recognized for its maritime heritage — a working fishing village that became a destination while somehow retaining its character. The harbor is perfectly protected, surrounded on three sides by wooded hillsides with Mount Rainier visible to the northeast on clear days. The waterfront promenade connects the marina to boutique shops, galleries, and some of the best restaurants in the South Sound. The boatyard has a reputation for quality haul-out work and carries skilled tradespeople for fiberglass, engine, and rigging repairs. Transient moorage fills quickly on summer weekends — the town draws as many visitors by land as by sea.
